Pipe Lining: How Pipe Lining Can Save Your Pipes
Pipe lining is a cost effective alternative to the replacement of water or sewage pipes. Traditionally, when water and sewage pipes corrode with age, the pipes have to be replaced, often at very high costs. However, using pipe lining, which involves placing epoxy resin liners or liners made of other material in existing pipes, provides a viable alternative.

There are many benefits to pipe lining, the most obvious is cost. For a fraction of the price of replacing pipes, pipe lining provides better drinking water, protection from pipe toxins that can leak into water, better structural pipe integrity, and better water flow. In addition, pipe lining takes less time and is less disruptive of daily life. Adding pipe lining is a simple process. The affected pipe is cleaned and then inspected with a camera or other remote viewer. The lining is then applied to the pipe without the pipe being moved. Resin is used to adhere the pipe lining to the original pipe. A very thin pipe lining is usually all that is needed to protect drinking water and improve water flow. The pipe lining also improves the structural integrity of the original pipe and seals off any holes that have appeared in the pipe. The new pipe lining is then cleaned and disinfected before new water is allowed to flow through.
