Raised flooring, also known as raised access flooring, is a useful feature in industry. Wiring, cabling, and phone lines can be placed under a raised access floor. This is especially convenient for office and laboratory clients who will have many electrical and phone needs within a given space. Workstations can be set up with a minimum amount of cabling on the floor surface, decreasing the risk of disconnection, tripping hazards, and other damage.
